It wasn’t exactly the roach who thought it was a good idea for us to skip the first 60 minutes of our morning workout and just do the 20 minute abs portion. No, that was more the fact that I was exhausted and hadn’t eaten since lunch yesterday. Even in just the 20 minutes, my stomach growled with every abdominal crunch. It was, however, the roach who mid way through our routine crawled its way into our workout spot on the parking lot, caused excessive screaming, shrieking and jumping up and down as though me might leave the ground and never have to step back down, and ultimately landed us on the safe and bug free floor of my apartment to finish. The entire mornings efforts were mediocre at best, but I will maintain that the fault goes to the roach.
So instead of our insane workout or going back to bed, I went out to breakfast and gorged on french toast and pancakes and bottomless cups of coffee. I’m starting to get used to accomplishing hours worth of activities before the sun even comes up and I’m not quite sure how I feel about that.
