Sometimes I think I have life a little bit figured out. I think I know what I’m doing and how to maneuver through this complicated world. Then I slip up, make a wrong turn and realize that I will probably never have it all figured out. This is fine, of course. None of us do or ever will and we will always have our share of moments we’d like to take back forever. But when it happens, when I cliff dive and can’t seem to find a grip, it is good to have friends who will listen to me cry, take me out for tequila while wearing hoodies (and making it a rule that we must use the word ‘bro’ in every other sentence, on account of the hoodies), take pictures in photo booths with hipsters (his name was Leo The Photo Booth Troll), and help me find my grip again.
Also, if you’re ever sad and hoodies, good friends and tequila don’t work, just be a dinosaur instead.
