Most conversations and thoughts I have about children lately involve panic and terror. I’m often convinced my uterus has actually developed a voice and screams loudly at the sight of babies. It’s embarrassing when I’m out in public. Still, it’s nights that I sit in front of my computer watching youtube videos of Sesame Street that I start to think having a kid wouldn’t be so bad. Then again, maybe someone could loan me one just for the Cookie Monster moments, or gems with Bert. That’s about as much commitment as I’m willing to make at this point.
Andy Samberg is one of my favorite comedians and Jews and mixed with the delightful and insightful conversation with Bert and his admission to reading Harry Potter, well, it’s perfection. And what great conversational questions Bert has! Sock from any time period? What kind of fabric would you be? Divine! Not only will I spend an embarrassing amount of time contemplating what my answers are to these questions (calico? linen?), but I will hound all of my friends for their answers!
